Ukraine, Mexico on final stage of visa-free travel agreement

Director of the Department of the Consular Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Serhiy Pohoreltsev says Ukraine and Mexico are on the final stage of visa-free travel talks.

“Ukraine and Mexico have reached the final stage of negotiations on the abolition of visa requirements for citizens of both countries,” he said, the ministry told UNIAN.

“We have worked out an action algorithm required to sign an agreement on the abolition of visa requirements for citizens of Ukraine and Mexico,” Pohoreltsev said.

It is reported for the first time in history, full-scale talks on consular issues were held between Ukraine and Mexico on May 27.
